Eastern Claims Service, Inc. is a multi-line, independent adjustment service, established in 1955. Our service area is a one hundred mile radius of Scranton, Pennsylvania that consists of eleven counties in the northeast portion of the state.

We have a staff of multi-line adjusters, specializing in commercial, first party property losses, casualty, general liability, medical malpractice, and workers compensation. Our property adjusters use the latest in computer estimating programs in the preparation of property estimates. We have an experienced clerical support staff which speeds claim processing.

Eastern Vehicle Appraisers, our subsidiary company, has a staff of Pennsylvania licensed motor vehicle appraisers, also specializing in heavy equipment and off-road appraisals. Our appraisers are Vale Technical schooled and I-Car trained. Eastern Vehicle Appraisers currently holds a Gold Designation from I-Car. Appraisals are computer generated using the latest ADP Pen Pro computer estimating system.

We represent most of the insurers in our locality and our rates are competitive. A copy of our current rates is available for your consideration.

Our professional memberships include: National Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters (NAIIA), Loss Executive Association (LEA), Pennsylvania Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters (PAIIA), Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (PAMIC), International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI), Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators (PAAI) and Pennsylvania Claims Association (PCA), along with the Independent Automobile Damage Appraisers (IADA).
